He will meet with Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in Doha


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has left for Qatar on a one-day visit along with a delegation.
According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, Shehbaz Sharif has left for Doha to express solidarity with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Qatari royal family, and the Qatari people in the wake of the Israeli aggression on Qatar.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister of Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi are participating in the Pakistani delegation along with the Prime Minister.
The spokesperson said that the Prime Minister will meet with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in Doha. During the meeting, he will express solidarity with the Emir of Qatar and the Qatari people in the wake of the unjustified Israeli aggression on Doha and the attack that is in clear violation of international laws.
The meeting will discuss the establishment of peace in the region, with Israel’s unjustified attacks and continued aggression against various countries in the region.
It is pertinent to note that Qatar and Pakistan have long-standing historical brotherly relations based on shared beliefs and values.
