Court said that this is a match, let it be a match

The Indian Supreme Court has rejected the request for an urgent hearing of the petition filed to stop the Pakistan-India match.
A petition was filed in the Indian Supreme Court to ban the Pakistan-India match in the ongoing Asia Cup cricket tournament in the United Arab Emirates.
According to Indian media, the petition sought to ban the Asia Cup cricket match between India and Pakistan on September 14 and declare it unconstitutional.
On this, the Indian Supreme Court rejected the request for an urgent hearing of the petition to stop the Pakistan-India match.
The court said, ‘What is the emergency in this?’ Nothing can happen at this time; the match should happen.
The Indian Supreme Court further said that this is a match, let it be a match, and the match is on Sunday.
A bench comprising Justices JK Maheshwari and Vijay Bishnoi also refused to hear the case.
It is pertinent to note that the first group match between Pakistan and India in the Asia Cup 2025 is scheduled for September 14 in Dubai.
If both teams reach the final of the event, they will have a total of three matches between them.
