PM Shehbaz assures Qatari leadership of Pakistan’s full solidarity against this unwarranted provocation

(Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid a one-day official visit to Qatar to express solidarity in the wake of Israel's recent attack, where he met with Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister strongly condemned the Israeli attack on Doha on September 9, describing it as a blatant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and regional integrity.
The Prime Minister said that the leadership and people of Pakistan are deeply concerned over the attack on the brotherly nation of Qatar, and that Pakistan stands firmly with the Emir of Qatar, the royal family, and the Qatari people in this difficult time.
He assured the Qatari leadership of Pakistan’s full solidarity against this unwarranted provocation and expressed condolences over the loss of precious lives in the Israeli attack.
According to the statement, the Prime Minister appreciated Qatar’s constructive mediation efforts for peace in Gaza and stated that Israel’s aggressive actions are aimed at destabilizing the region, which also threaten ongoing diplomatic and humanitarian efforts.
The Prime Minister further mentioned that, at Qatar’s request, Pakistan had called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council. He also welcomed Qatar’s decision to host an extraordinary Arab Islamic summit on September 15, and conveyed Pakistan’s willingness to act as a co-sponsor of the upcoming OIC meeting.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister also thanked the Emir of Qatar for his support to Pakistan during India’s unprovoked aggression earlier this year.
The Emir of Qatar expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for visiting Doha in solidarity. Both leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to promoting regional peace, upholding international law, supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, and further strengthening the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Qatar.
