Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research will be established in Lahore for Rs74.92 billion


Islamabad: The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) approved seven development projects worth Rs236 billion, including three mega projects.
The meeting, chaired by Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, approved seven development projects worth Rs236 billion, while three mega projects worth Rs228 billion were also sent to ECNEC for final approval.
The meeting approved in principle a program worth Rs1.3835 billion in the education sector. Under this program, the education sector will be focused on in Balochistan.
In addition, in the health sector, the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research will be established in Lahore for Rs74.92 billion. This project has also been sent to ECNEC for approval.
A project worth Rs68.73 billion has been sent to ECNEC for the purchase of land for the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway. The NHA has been instructed to complete the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway in three years.
