Prime Minister assured Qatari leadership of Pakistan's full support and solidarity


Islamabad: Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan has said that the Israeli attack on Qatar is a clear violation of international law. Pakistan strongly condemns the Israeli aggression on Qatar. The Prime Minister has urged the Muslim world to unite against Israeli provocation.
In Islamabad, Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said during a weekly media briefing that the Prime Minister paid an emergency visit to Doha to express solidarity with Qatar against the Israeli aggression, and the Pakistani nation stands by the brotherly country of Qatar.
The spokesperson stated that Pakistan and Qatar have always stood by each other in every difficult time. The Prime Minister assured the Qatari leadership of Pakistan's full support and solidarity.
He added that an emergency meeting of the Security Council was called at the request of Pakistan and Somalia. Pakistan also condemns the Israeli brutality in Gaza and wants a solution to the Palestinian conflict in accordance with UN resolutions.
The Foreign Office spokesperson further said that Israel’s targeting of the mediator country Qatar is an attempt to sabotage the peace talks.
The spokesperson said that the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan paid an important visit to Pakistan. Pakistan and Kazakhstan agreed to increase cooperation in various fields.
