Deputy PM Ishaq Dar appreciated the UK’s timely support and thanked Britain for standing with Pakistan during this difficult time

(Web Desk): According to a report by Pakistan's state broadcaster PTV, British High Commissioner Jane Marriott met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar to discuss measures to address the devastation caused by floods and the monsoon season.
On the occasion, the British High Commissioner expressed strong solidarity with Pakistan and announced that the UK will provide £3 million in emergency assistance.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar appreciated the UK’s timely support and thanked Britain for standing with Pakistan during this difficult time.
During the meeting, both sides also discussed bilateral relations, the importance of high-level engagements, and regional and global issues.
