(Web Desk): Pakistan’s first Artificial Intelligence-based driving test car has been developed and launched for Lahore and the rest of Punjab, said DIG Traffic Waqas Nazir.
The car is equipped with advanced cameras and sensors, including a facial recognition camera inside and four external cameras.
A biometric machine for fingerprint verification is also installed inside the car, along with an automated feature that provides instructions related to the test as soon as the candidate sits inside.
The vehicle includes a countdown timer, handbrake, and seatbelt configuration for the test. Additionally, if the reverse gear is used more than once, the car will automatically declare the candidate as failed.
The test results will be automatically updated through an AI-powered system.
The AI-based vehicle will first be used in Lahore, followed by rollout in other cities. The Traffic Police have developed this vehicle using their own resources.
