Motorcyclists flee scene after collision

Lahore: Journalist Hasan Siddiqui tragically lost his life in a road accident at Liberty Chowk after being hit by a speeding motorcycle coming from the wrong direction.
According to eyewitnesses, Hasan Siddiqui had just entered the main road when a motorcycle, violating the one-way traffic rule and speeding from the opposite direction, collided with him. The impact was so severe that Hasan Shehzad Siddiqui died on the spot.
As per the complaint filed at Gulberg Police Station, two motorcyclists riding in violation of the one-way traffic rule struck Hasan Siddiqui’s motorcycle and fled the scene. The complaint calls for the immediate arrest of the riders and strict legal action against them for violating traffic laws and causing a fatal accident.
His funeral prayer and burial will be held on Saturday at 6:00 AM at the UET Cemetery.
