This year, three rivers of Punjab are simultaneously affected by high-level floods


Bahawalpur: The death toll in various accidents due to floods in Punjab has crossed 100.
Director General PDMA Punjab Irfan Ali Kathia, while talking to the media at the Commissioner’s Office, said that the biggest flood in the history of Punjab has occurred, in which about 5,000 villages have been affected.
Irfan Ali Kathia stated that this year, three rivers of Punjab are simultaneously affected by high-level floods. Unfortunately, the situation has worsened in Jalalpur Peerwala and its suburbs.
He added that 101 people died in Punjab during the floods, while currently 483 relief camps are providing services to the flood victims.
DG PDMA Punjab further said that the biggest rescue operation in the history of Punjab was carried out during the floods, and 2 million cattle were shifted to safe places in Punjab.
