Two leaders agreed to remain in close contact on the situation in the region


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the Israeli attack in a meeting with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s House, Shehbaz Sharif and the Emir of Qatar met on the sidelines of the Arab-Islamic Summit. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Army Chief General Asim Munir were also present in the meeting.
According to the statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the Israeli attack in Doha on September 9, calling it a violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and international laws.
The Prime Minister appreciated Qatar’s decision to convene the summit, while the Emir of Qatar thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for attending the summit.
According to the Prime Minister’s House, the two leaders agreed to remain in close contact on the situation in the region.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan stands with Qatar in difficult times, and the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Qatar will further strengthen.
Shahbaz Sharif further said that Israeli aggression in the Middle East should be stopped immediately, and the unity of the Muslim Ummah is needed more than ever today.
