(Web Desk): In the opening One-Day International, Pakistan Women set South Africa a target of 256 runs to win, thanks to a magnificent century from Sidra Ameen.
At the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, top-order batter Sidra Ameen produced an excellent display against the Proteas bowlers, registering her fifth century in ODI cricket. She remained unbeaten on a superb 121 runs.
Guided by her outstanding innings, Pakistan Women posted 255 for 4 in their allotted overs. Muneeba Ali contributed 76 runs, while Aliya Riaz added 33.
