US citizens and companies will not be able to do business with individuals and entities included in sanctions


Washington: The United States has announced new sanctions on Iran.
The US Treasury Department has issued a press release announcing sanctions on several individuals and companies related to Iran.
The statement issued by the Treasury Department said that the sanctions include entities that provide financial support to the Iranian military, as well as certain elements in Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates.
They are accused of facilitating the transfer of $100 million worth of cryptocurrency from the sale of Iranian oil, which was used to benefit the Iranian government and military.
US citizens and companies will not be able to do business with the individuals and entities included in the US sanctions.
