The deceased were identified as 65-year-old Karamat and his 18-year-old son Bilal

(Web Desk): In a tragic incident, a father and son lost their lives due to electrocution inside their home in Mehran Town, located in Karachi's Korangi Industrial Area.
The incident occurred near the last stop of Route D-11 minibus, where the two victims received a fatal electric shock inside their house.
Edhi volunteers transported the bodies to Jinnah Hospital for legal formalities. The deceased were identified as 65-year-old Karamat and his 18-year-old son Bilal.
Korangi Industrial Area SHO Malik Mazhar Awan stated that initial reports suggest the cause was electrocution inside the home, and further investigation is underway.
The deceased's nephew, Israr Shah, revealed that the area is plagued by illegal electricity connections (kundas), and the victims received the shock from a power line passing near their house.
After completing legal formalities, the police handed over the bodies to the family, who placed them in the Chhipa morgue temporarily.
