Pakistan is committed to further strengthening long-standing partnership with Saudi Arabia


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended their heartfelt congratulations to the people and government of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of their National Day today.
President Asif Ali Zardari has stated that the relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are founded on trust, sincerity, and brotherhood. We have a strong spiritual connection with Saudi Arabia due to the presence of the two holiest places of Islam, the Kaaba and the Prophet's Mosque, in Saudi Arabia.
He has said that the partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in the fields of security and defense is not only a reflection of our mutual trust but also an important step towards peace and stability in the region.

In addition, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Muhammad bin Salman, and the Saudi people on the occasion of Saudi Arabia's National Day.
The Prime Minister said in his message that the warm welcome and loving hospitality received by him and the Pakistani delegation during their recent visit to Riyadh were a matter of pride.
He thanked the Saudi leadership and people, saying that the relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are based on the religion of Islam, history, brotherhood, and trust, which will always remain.
Shahbaz Sharif added that Saudi Arabia is on a great journey of development under the leadership of Prince Muhammad bin Salman, and its high position in the international community today is an example of vision and wisdom.
The Prime Minister further said that the Pakistani nation will always remember the solidarity shown by the Saudi people and leadership during the tensions with India in May 2025.
According to Shehbaz Sharif, the Pakistani people can never forget the economic cooperation of Saudi Arabia, which supported Pakistan’s economy. Millions of Pakistanis consider Saudi Arabia their second home and are playing an active role in its construction and development.
At the end of his message, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan is committed to further strengthening this long-standing partnership. He prayed that Allah Almighty may always bless Saudi Arabia with progress and greatness.
