Lahore: Three laborers drowned in a sewage well in Raiwind, an area of Lahore.
According to a rescue spokesman, four laborers went down into a sewage well to repair a pump in Raiwind's Amin Pura settlement, when the laborers drowned in the well due to high water.
Upon receiving information about the incident, rescue personnel reached the spot and, after a 7-hour-long operation, they recovered the bodies of three laborers, while the fourth was taken to the hospital in an injured condition.
The spokesperson said that the deceased laborers include Nisar, Naveed, and Asif, whose bodies have been shifted to the hospital.
