New translation feature introduced in WhatsApp
Feature can also be used in the same way on iPhones

WhatsApp, the messaging app owned by Meta, has now enabled on-device translation of messages.
This new on-device translation feature will help users instantly translate chats without leaving the app.
This feature has been introduced for Android and iOS devices for users in 180 countries.
Support for English, Spanish, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian and Arabic languages will be available under this feature on Android phones.
A statement issued by WhatsApp said that users will now be able to see the translation of messages in different languages within a few seconds and respond accordingly.
How to use the feature?
To use this feature on Android phones, press and hold the desired message for some time and then click on the three-dot menu in the top right corner and select Translate and then Language.
After doing this, the translation of the desired message will be visible immediately.
Android users can also turn on the automatic translation option for all chats.
With this option, all chats of this contact will be translated automatically in the future.
The process of translating messages will be completed within the device, and no one else will have access to the users' chats.
The feature can also be used in the same way on iPhones; however, the automatic translation option will not be available there.
According to the company, the rollout of this feature has started and will be available to all users very soon.
This feature also works on one-on-one chats, group chats, and channel updates. It is not yet available on WhatsApp Web and Windows versions.
