Fareed Express derails at Kotri Junction

(Web Desk): Train accidents continue to plague the country as the 38 Down Fareed Express, en route from Lahore to Karachi, derailed while entering Platform 2 at Kotri Railway Junction.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Following the derailment, train operations on the down track were suspended. Railway staff and cranes were dispatched to restore the derailed coaches, a process expected to take over five hours. Meanwhile, affected passengers are being shifted to other compartments, and the train will resume its journey once transfers are complete. Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
