Bangladesh bowled first against Pakistan

Dubai: Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 11 runs to reach the final and now face India in the final of Asia Cup 2025 played in Dubai on Thursday. Chasing Pakistan’s target of 136 runs, Bangladesh managed to score 124 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs.
In the Dubai match, Bangladesh won the toss and opted to field first, inviting Pakistan to bat. Pakistan made no changes to their lineup, retaining the same playing XI that featured against Sri Lanka.
Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl against Pakistan in the virtual semifinal of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, on Thursday.
Speaking at the toss, stand-in captain Jaker Ali said his side would bowl first because the wicket looked dry.
Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha said he would have batted anyway. Pakistan are unchanged for the all-important game, Agha confirmed.
