Washington DC: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House concluded. PM Shehbaz met US President Donald Trump at the White House, accompanied by Field Marshal Asim Munir.
The meeting inside the Oval Office lasted for more than one hour and 20 minutes. Prior to the talks, President Trump, while speaking at the White House, hailed both the Prime Minister and the Field Marshal as great leaders.
Donald Trump praised Field Marshal Asim Munir as an outstanding personality, adding that Pakistan’s Prime Minister was also a remarkable leader.

Earlier, a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said that upon arrival at Andrews Air Base in Washington, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his delegation were welcomed on the red carpet by senior U.S. Air Force officials. The Prime Minister’s motorcade then departed the airbase under tight American security.
Before the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had said that the meeting of Muslim leaders with President Trump regarding a ceasefire in Gaza was fruitful, and the next step was implementing the agreed-upon points.
Speaking to journalists in New York, he said that in the battle for justice, Pakistan’s armed forces had inflicted a decisive defeat on India, with Field Marshal Asim Munir demonstrating to the world how wars are fought.
In New York, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also met Bangladesh’s Chief Advisor, Professor Muhammad Yunus, during which he reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening relations based on mutual trust, regional cooperation, and development.
