Arrested suspect revealed that he used to sell drugs to students of educational institutions


Lahore: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested 10 suspects, including five women, during crackdowns in different cities.
According to the ANF spokesperson, 91.886kg of drugs worth over Rs13.5 million were recovered during the operations.
During the operation near Hatar Road, Haripur, 300 grams of hashish and 60 grams of ice were recovered from the possession of a suspect. The arrested suspect revealed that he used to sell drugs to students of educational institutions.
The ANF also conducted major operations at Islamabad Airport. 99 heroin capsules weighing 706 grams were recovered from the stomachs of a man and a woman going to Dubai. In another operation, 33 cocaine capsules weighing 220 grams were recovered from the stomach of a passenger going to Riyadh.
64.8kg of hashish and 18.6kg of opium were recovered from a vehicle near GT Road, Gujarat, in which four suspects, including two women, were arrested. Similarly, 6kg of ice was recovered from a woman near Sher Shah Toll Plaza, Multan. 1.2kg of ice was recovered from a house in the Chak Basawa area of Mandi Bahauddin, the suspected woman was arrested.
According to the ANF spokesperson, all the operations were carried out under the Narcotics Control Act 1997. Cases have been registered, and further investigations have been initiated.
