He said that talks on Gaza ceasefire and release of the hostages are moving forward

Washington: US President Donald Trump has warned that if Hamas refuses to relinquish control of Gaza, it will be destroyed.
The US President, while talking to CNN anchor Jack Tapper about the 20-point ceasefire plan, said that if Hamas tries to hold on to power, it will be destroyed.
Trump was asked whether Hamas has rejected his plan with a stance of not disarming, keeping Gaza under control, and making the release of the hostages conditional on negotiations.
To this, Trump replied briefly that, “We will see and respond when the time comes”.
The US President also issued a message on social media regarding the agreement with Hamas. Trump said that the talks on the Gaza ceasefire and the release of the hostages are moving forward, and the talks have been successful and are progressing rapidly.
He said that the technical teams will meet again in Egypt today to work out the final details. I am telling everyone to act quickly.

It is pertinent to note that Trump's latest statement regarding Hamas came at a time when indirect talks between the resistance organization and Israel are starting today in Egypt.
US President Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and special envoy Stevotkov will represent the United States in these talks. According to the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, the Israeli delegation will also leave for the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh today for the talks.
A Hamas delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya is also arriving in Egypt for the indirect talks. The Palestinian resistance organization is ready to discuss other points of the agreement, including the release of hostages, but Hamas has reservations on some points.
Arab media have claimed from Hamas sources that Hamas has also agreed to disarm under international supervision.
