Afghan team has arrived in Pakistan to investigate envoy’s daughter kidnapping case: Rasheed
Islamabad: Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that the Afghan team has arrived in Pakistan to investigate into the alleged kidnapping of its envoy’s daughter in Islamabad.

While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Sheikh Rasheed said that the relevant authorities will fully cooperate with the Afghan team in the probe.
“We have completed our investigation, but the Afghan team can interview taxi drivers if they want to,” he said adding that Islamabad administration has been directed to further secure the diplomatic enclave.
Responding to a question related to the Dasu incident, Sheikh Rasheed said that significant progress has been made in Dasu Dam incident.
“China has always stood by Pakistan in difficult times and we have made foolproof security arrangements for Chinese people [working and residing] in Pakistan,” he said.
Commenting on the Noor Mukadam case, he said that the accused Zahir Jaffer, his father and driver have been arrested and the case is under trial.
Referring to the security arrangements during Muharram ul Haram, Rasheed said that law and order situation will be maintained during the holy month of Muharram.
The interior minister said that an important meeting on coronavirus situation will be held on Thursday in the wake of fourth wave.
“A vaccination verification system for both local and foreigners is being launched in the NADRA,” he added.
