Lahore: A meeting of the Council of Complaints, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), was held under the chair of Dr. Lubna Zaheer, Chairperson of the Council. The meeting was convened to review various complaints pertaining to television channels and advertisement content.
During the proceedings, both complainants and respondents were provided the opportunity to present their positions. The council discussed the cases in detail, decided several matters, and pended a number of complaints for further deliberation.
Members of the Council of Complaints and senior officials of PEMRA also attended the meeting. The council reiterated its commitment to promoting responsible broadcasting and ensuring strict compliance with the PEMRA Code of Conduct through a fair and transparent complaint redressal process.
