Tokyo: Defending champions Brazil Tuesday reached the final of the men's football competition in Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Brazil beat Mexico 4-1 on penalties after the game concluded goalless after extra time.
Brazil, the holders having won gold in their home Olympics in 2016, had the better of the first half, but the second failed to live up to expectations.
Now, the South American country will face the winners of Tuesday's other semi-final between Spain and Japan in Saitama.
