Lahore: The 556th birth anniversary celebrations of founder of Sikh religion Baba Gura Nanak Deve Ji will begin from tomorrow.
Sikh Yatrees are gathering at Nanka Sahib from inside and outside Pakistan to participate in ceremonies to celebrate the anniversary of their first Guru.
During their pilgrimage, the Sikh Yatrees will pay homage at Gurdwara Janam Asthan in Nankana Sahib, Gurdwara Panja Sahib in Hassan Abdal, and Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur in Narowal.
The main ceremony marking Baba Guru Nanak’s birth anniversary will take place at Gurdwara Janam Asthan on Wednesday.
All arrangements related to security, transport, accommodation and food have been completed, with special teams from the Evacuee Trust Property Board.
Meanwhile, Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has also issued visas to tweny-one hundred Sikh Yatrees from India to participate in these events.
