Nationwide, 317 students from across Pakistan secured 355 awards, including 83 Top in World, 63 Top in Country, and 11 High Achievement awards


Lahore: Learners from Punjab have achieved remarkable success in the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards 2025, earning top positions among thousands of candidates worldwide.
According to Cambridge International, 121 learners from Punjab received a total of 133 awards for exceptional performance in the June 2025 examination series. The accolades include 38 Top in the World awards and 35 Top in Punjab distinctions across Cambridge IGCSE, O Level, and International AS & A Level examinations.
Nationwide, 317 students from across Pakistan secured 355 awards, including 83 Top in the World, 63 Top in Country, and 11 High Achievement awards, highlighting the growing academic excellence of Pakistani learners in Cambridge qualifications.
The award ceremony was attended by Parliamentary Secretary for Education Nausheen Adnan, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at LUMS Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan, and Head of the Chief Minister’s Exams Reform Unit Muzammil Mahmood as special guests. Country Director Cambridge Pakistan Uzma Yousuf, Director of Examinations British Council Amanda Ingham, and Head of Marketing and Communications Cambridge Arsalan Rabbani were also present at the event.
Uzma Yousuf, Country Director, Pakistan for International Education at Cambridge, congratulated the achievers, saying:

These results reflect their hard work and the unwavering support of teachers, schools, and families. As the world evolves with innovation and technology, these learners prove that strong educational foundations build confidence and adaptability for the future.”
Speaking on the occasion, Head of the Chief Minister’s Exams Reform Unit Muzammil Mahmood commended the students and educators for their remarkable achievements.
"The success of our learners is a testament to the quality of education and the collaborative efforts of schools, teachers, and parents,” he said. “Punjab’s education reforms are focused on aligning local systems with global standards, and today’s recognition of our students on the world stage is a proud reflection of that vision.”
The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards celebrate academic excellence in over 40 countries, recognising students who attain the highest marks globally and nationally. The awards also honour students achieving High Achievement recognition in less commonly taken subjects, as well as those with top cumulative marks across multiple disciplines.
This year’s winners from Punjab have not only brought pride to their schools but have also reinforced the province’s standing as a hub of academic excellence in Pakistan.
