Domestic violence case: Yo Yo Honey Singh's wife seeks Rs. 100 compensation
Mumbai: Rapper-singer Yo Yo Honey Singh’s wife Shalini Talwar has sought Rs 100 million compensation from the rapper in connection with domestic violence case.


According to Indian media, Shalini Talwar had filed a case of physical and emotional abuse against Yo Yo Honey Singh under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.
Shalini had said that she suffered immense physical, verbal and emotional abuse at the hands of husband and his family.
The rapper had gotten married in 2011 but did not reveal the wedding until 2014. Reportedly, the singer had hidden his marriage from media as he did not want his marital status to come in the way of his flourishing career
The rapper’s wife has also accused him of having multiple extra-marital affairs.
Yo Yo Honey Singh is yet to release a statement about the allegations leveled against him.
