Dacoit killed in alleged police encounter in Lahore’s Raiwind

According to GNN, Kasur police arrested two robbers who reported the presence of their third accomplice in Raiwind after which police arrived in the area to arrest him.

The robber opened fire on police when the personnel reached the site as a result of which one police official suffered injuries.

Following the result of retaliatory firing, dacoit Ali was killed while the woman in the car with the dacoit was taken into police custody.

Police has launched an investigation into the incident.
