Karachi: The Sindh government has announced release of film ‘Mera Layari’ in the first week of January to counter negative propaganda against Lyari in Indian film ‘Dharandhar’.
Sindh Minister Sharjeel Memon has said the film will be released internationally, adding India suffered a humiliating defeat in the war against Pakistan, and it could not turn its defeat into victory through films.
Sharjeel Memon said that the Indian film ‘Dharandhar’ is negative propaganda against Pakistan, especially Lyari. He said Lyari is not a symbol of violence but of culture, peace, capability and courage.
