Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Friday in line with their gain in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs473,362 after a gain of Rs500 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs405,831 after it increased by Rs429, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, gold price per tola reached a fresh all-time high of Rs472,862 after a gain of Rs2,000 during the day.
The international rate of gold was up by $5 to reach $4,510 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
