India still bears the stain of operation Sindoor: DG ISPR

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Army spokesperson Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that the stain of India’s Operation Sindoor has still not faded.

Briefing media representatives at GHQ, the DG ISPR said that clashes took place in May last year during Marka-e-Haq and again in October along the Afghan border.

He added that the world witnessed how India was decisively humiliated in Marka-e-Haq, which was necessary. He alleged that following Marka-e-Haq, India actively fueled terrorism. He further said that terrorists were targeted along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in October 2025, and within hours, dozens of Afghan posts were wiped off the map.

He reiterated that a politically conducive environment is being provided for terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the DG ISPR said.

He stated that during India’s so-called Operation Sindoor, children and women were deliberately targeted. “Who is India to target our civilians? No one has given India the right to harm any Pakistani citizen or damage Pakistan’s infrastructure,” he said, adding again that the stigma of India’s Operation Sindoor continues to cling to it.
