Armed Forces remain steadfast in safeguarding country’s sovereignty: Field Marshal
Chief of Defence Forces emphasized the Pakistan Army’s zero-tolerance policy against any threat to national security:ISPR


Rawalpindi: Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that Pakistan’s armed forces remain vigilant to safeguard the country’s geographical borders and internal security.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Lahore Garrison. The Corps Commander Lahore received the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces upon his arrival at the Lahore Garrison.
On this occasion, he was given a detailed briefing on the formation’s operational readiness, training standards, and key measures taken to enhance combat capability.
ISPR stated that during the visit, the Chief of Defence Forces observed a special field training exercise in which the practical application of state-of-the-art technologies was demonstrated. The exercise highlighted the Pakistan Army’s strong and effective focus on innovation, adaptability, and alignment with the future battlefield environment.
According to the military spokesperson, while addressing officers, the Chief of Defence Forces emphasized the Pakistan Army’s zero-tolerance policy against any threat to national security and reaffirmed the resolve to confront multidimensional challenges with determination, professionalism, and unwavering focus.
The spokesperson added that the Field Marshal reiterated the Pakistan Army’s core mission, stating that the armed forces are committed to safeguarding the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability, while promoting a tradition of excellence, discipline, and selfless national service.
According to the spokesperson, he also inspected the sports and recreational facilities provided for soldiers and stressed the importance of physical fitness, morale, and overall welfare initiatives.
Field Marshal Asim Munir also visited the High Care Center at CMH Lahore, where he appreciated the efforts of the staff and administration for establishing a fully modern, well-equipped medical facility.
