People can get second jab 'anytime' after minimum time interval has elapsed: Dr Faisal
Islamabad: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination, Dr. Faisal Sultan has shared important information related to coronavirus vaccines.


Taking to twitter, Dr. Faisal shared that people can get second dose of the vaccine anytime after the minimum time interval has elapsed.
The SAPM added that Sinopharm can be taken after an interval of three weeks, while Sinovac and AstraZeneca can be administered after four weeks.
“Don't need to wait for reminder SMS from 1166 which comes after 6 weeks for Sinopharm, Sinovac and 12 weeks for AstraZeneca),” he added.

Pakistan is administering coronavirus vaccines to everyone above 18. The vaccines include Sinopharm, Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Moderna, CanSino and PakVac.
Pakistan has reported a share surge in Covid-19 deaths as threat of delta variant looms large in Pakistan.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 4,040 cases of coronavirus were reported while 53 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 23,918.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 1,071,620.
As many as 964,404 patients have recovered from the disease with 3,805 critical cases.
