Saim Ayub tops all-rounders; Babar Azam drops in ICC T20I ranking

Web Desk: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest T20I player rankings ahead of the T20 World Cup.

All-rounders:

Pakistan’s Saim Ayub has once again claimed the No. 1 position in the T20I all-rounders’ rankings, while Sikandar Raza has slipped one place to second.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz has moved up one spot to fourth, and Shadab Khan has climbed an impressive 13 places to 26th.

T20I Batters’ Rankings:

In the ICC T20I batters’ rankings, India’s Abhishek Sharma sits at the top, followed by England’s Phil Salt in second place, while his compatriot Jos Buttler has moved up one position to third.

Among Pakistani batters, opening batter Sahibzada Farhan has slipped two places to seventh, while Saim Ayub has surged eight places to 28th.

Pakistan’s T20I captain Salman Ali Agha has made a significant leap, climbing 12 places to 29th, whereas former captain Babar Azam has dropped three places to 34th.

World Cup squad member Fakhar Zaman has slipped five places to 74th.

T20I Bowlers’ Rankings:

In the ICC T20I bowlers’ rankings, India’s Varun Chakravarthy remains at the top. Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed has climbed two places to second, pushing Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan down to third.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Nawaz has risen eight places to seventh, Shaheen Afridi has moved up five places to 19th, and Shadab Khan has made a remarkable surge of 33 places to 72nd.
