CM Maryam Nawaz praises people of Lahore for following safety SOPs during Basant
Maryam Nawaz said that preemptive safety measures worked well and the "Safe Basant" initiative will be extended to other cities.

Lahore:Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has praised the people of Lahore for following safety SOPs during Basant.
In a statement, she said citizens played a key role in ensuring a safe celebration by using only approved kites and paper.
She said no reports of banned kite strings were received, and celebrations were held on rooftops safely.
Maryam Nawaz said that preemptive safety measures worked well and the "Safe Basant" initiative will be extended to other cities.
Around 200 "Clinics on Wheels" and 21 field hospitals were deployed across Lahore, including Liberty and the Walled City.
