Islamabad: Pakistan and Qatar have reaffirmed their resolve to further strengthen deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries.
This came at a telephonic conversation between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani today.
During their warm and cordial conversation, the two leaders extended heartiest felicitations to each other on the blessed occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan and prayed for peace and tranquility of the Ummah.
The Prime Minister conveyed his deep appreciation for Qatar's diplomatic efforts, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, to foster peace and reconciliation in the Middle East and other parts of the world.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments and reaffirmed their resolve to continue working together closely to promote peace, stability and prosperity in the region and beyond.
Meanwhile, in a post on social media platform X, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif termed telephonic conversation with Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani as most warm and cordial.
The Prime Minister said that we exchanged felicitations on the blessed occasion of holy Ramadan and prayed for peace, unity and tranquility of the Ummah.
Shehbaz Sharif said that we reaffirmed shared resolve to further strengthen the deep-rooted, fraternal ties between Pakistan and Qatar.
He also conveyed his deep appreciation for Qatar's diplomatic efforts under Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's sagacious leadership to advance peace and reconciliation in the Middle East and beyond.
