D I Khan: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has foiled a planned terrorist attack and arrested a suspected female suicide bomber in Dera Ismail Khan.
The CTD also recovered a 30-bore pistol, ammunition, mobile phones and other materials from the suspect's possession.
According to CTD officials, the forensic examination of the mobile phones revealed links to a banned militant organization.
Inspector General of Police for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed has announced a cash reward for the CTD team in recognition of the successful operation.
