Rat bites sleeping PPP legislator at Parliament Lodges
Islamabad: In a creepy incident, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Member of National Assembly (MNA) Shahida Rahmani was reportedly bitten by a mice while she was sleeping in her apartment at Parliament Lodges, Islamabad.
As per details, PPP lawmaker was sleeping in her room at the lodges when she encountered the bizarre incident and had to get the anti-bite injection.
The Parliament Lodges are infested with rodents as they keep scurrying around the place.
Following the incident, the MNA demanded that a legal notice should be taken against concerned authorities regarding mismanagement in the lodges.
However, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri directed the CDA Director to ensure better arrangements.
