PM meets Iranian delegation; discusses regional and global peace situation and ongoing negotiations
Pakistan will continue to play its sincere and facilitative role as a mediator for peace and stability in the region in good faith,says PM Shebaz


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with the Iranian delegation on the occasion of the Islamabad Dialogue, during which discussions were held on regional and global peace as well as the Iran–US negotiations.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the Iranian delegation was led by Speaker of the Parliament Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, while Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi was also part of the delegation.
The statement added that Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi were also present in the meeting..jpg)
During the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed Pakistan’s commitment to accelerating progress toward meaningful outcomes in the interest of regional and global peace and stability.
The Prime Minister stated that Pakistan will continue to play its sincere and facilitative role as a mediator for peace and stability in the region in good faith. He further said that Pakistan will continue its role in achieving meaningful results through constructive engagement.
