Pakistan to continue facilitating dialogue between Iran and the US: Ishaq Dar
Dar expressed hope that both nations would move forward with a positive mindset for sustainable peace and prosperity in the region and the world.


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to establishing lasting peace in the region, stating that the country would continue its role in facilitating the dialogue process between Iran and the United States.
While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar mentioned that comprehensive and constructive negotiations had taken place between Iran and the US, expressing hope that both parties would continue the dialogue process and uphold the ceasefire.
In the briefing, Deputy Prime Minister Dar further acknowledged the appreciation from both countries regarding Pakistan's positive role, and expressed optimism that the US and Iran would continue talks for peace. He expressed hope that both nations would move forward with a positive mindset for sustainable peace and prosperity in the region and the world.
Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of both countries remaining committed to the ceasefire and expressed gratitude towards the Iranian and US delegations participating in the dialogue process. He reiterated that Pakistan would maintain its facilitative role in the negotiations. Both countries responded positively to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's request.
Dar also shared that the US delegation, led by Vice President JD Vance, visited Pakistan, while the Iranian delegation, led by Speaker Mohammad Baqir Qalibaf, participated in the negotiations. Several rounds of comprehensive and constructive talks took place between the two sides, with Dar, as Deputy Prime Minister and Field Marshal, providing assistance in the negotiation process.
