US representatives to arrive in Islamabad tomorrow for talks with Iran, says Trump

Washington, D.C.: U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that his representatives will travel to Islamabad tomorrow evening, where important talks will take place.

According to details, in a statement posted on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump accused Iran of a serious violation of the ceasefire and said he remains hopeful that the parties are close to reaching an agreement.

In his message on Truth Social, Donald Trump wrote that the United States is offering Iran a very good and reasonable deal, and he hopes that Tehran will accept it. He added that the offer is aimed at reducing tensions in the region and moving toward a possible diplomatic solution.

The U.S. President warned that if no agreement is reached, he will take steps that no American president has taken in the past 47 years. Furthermore, he adopted a tough stance, saying that if Iran does not accept the deal, its power plants and bridges could be targeted.

In his statement, the U.S. President also claimed that despite Iran’s announcement to close the Strait of Hormuz, the waterway has effectively already been shut down due to a U.S. blockade, causing Iran an estimated loss of around $500 million per day, while the United States is not suffering any losses from the situation.

President Trump also wrote in his Truth Social post that a French naval vessel and a British cargo ship were fired upon in the Strait of Hormuz, which he described as a provocative act. He said such developments are unacceptable.

It is worth mentioning that just yesterday Iran had announced the closure of the key maritime passage, the Strait of Hormuz. Following this development, incidents of firing and clashes at sea were also reported.
