Indigenous ‘Taimoor’ Air-Launched Cruise Missile successfully test-fired: Pakistan Navy
The military’s media wing states that the test validated the Navy’s combat capabilities to detect, target, and neutralise hostile maritime threats

Karachi: The Pakistan Navy has successfully conducted a test of the anti-ship weapon system, the Taimoor air-launched cruise missile.
According to ISPR, the missile test demonstrated the Pakistan Navy’s precision strike capability and operational readiness, with the air-launched cruise missile completing its mission with high accuracy.
The military’s media wing stated that the test validated the Navy’s combat capabilities to detect, target, and neutralise hostile maritime threats.
This demonstration by the Pakistan Navy marks a significant enhancement in national defence capabilities, further strengthening the armed forces’ ability to deliver coordinated, multi-domain strikes in conventional warfare.

ISPR added that the Pakistan Navy remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding the country’s maritime interests and the sovereignty of its territorial waters.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Defence Forces General Syed Asim Munir, and the service chiefs congratulated the scientists and engineers on the successful test.
