Lahore: In an exciting Pakistan Super League (PSL) encounter, Lahore Qalandars secured a 9-run victory over Quetta Gladiators to earn two crucial points.

Batting first, Lahore Qalandars posted 197 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Fakhar Zaman played a brilliant innings, scoring 103 runs off 51 balls. Charith Asalanka contributed 31 runs, while Daniel Sams added 18. For Quetta Gladiators, Khaleel Ahmed took 2 wickets.
Chasing a target of 198 runs, Quetta Gladiators managed 188 for 7 in 20 overs. Saud Shakeel scored 53 runs, while Rilee Rossouw made 62 runs, but their efforts fell short.
For Lahore Qalandars, Haris Rauf took 2 wickets, while Shaheen Afridi, Obed Shah, Sikandar Raza, and Usama Mir claimed one wicket each.
With this win, Lahore Qalandars moved up to fourth place on the points table with 8 points from 8 matches, while Quetta Gladiators remain fifth with 6 points from 9 matches.
Peshawar Zalmi currently lead the points table with 15 points from 8 matches.
