Through digital media, Pakistan will present its narrative effectively to world: Fawad Ch
Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain Sunday said that the government is working on a plan to present Pakistan's narrative to the world effectively through digital media.


Briefing the media about Digital Media Wing in capital city today, the minister said people will shift to digital in coming days and the digital media will define the media landscape of Pakistan.
“Digital Media Wing has published a report with glimpse of the hybrid war facing Pakistan,” he said adding that the fifth Generation War and Hybrid War are not a philosophy but a reality.
“We are setting up the Pakistan Media Development Authority to cope with the challenge of hybrid war,” added minister.
Fawad further stated that differentiation between real and fake news is also a challenge as a big network is spreading baseless news against Pakistan.
“This network is being operated by India to promote sectarianism in Pakistan,” he stressed.
The Federal Minister said millions of users of using different social media platforms in Pakistan and the future of advertising is digital ads.
