IMF Executive Board completed the third review under the Extended Fund Facility in its meeting held last Friday and approved the disbursement of Special Drawing Rights (SDR) 760 million dollars for Pakistan


Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has received about $1.3 billion under the IMF's Extended Fund Facility (EFF) and Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF).
In a social media post on X, the State Bank said the IMF Executive Board completed the third review under the Extended Fund Facility in its meeting held last Friday and approved the disbursement of Special Drawing Rights (SDR) 760 million dollars for Pakistan.
It said the IMF Executive Board has also approved the disbursement of the second tranche of SDR 154 million under the Resilience and Sustainability Facility.
The State Bank of Pakistan said the received amount is equivalent to SDR 914 million (equivalent to about 1.3 billion dollars).
The amount would be reflected in SBP's foreign exchange reserves for the week ending this Friday.
