Punjab relaxes business hour restriction of 8pm until June 1

Lahore: The Punjab government has relaxed business hour restrictions across the province until June 1, lifting the requirement for businesses to close by 8pm.

The decision will apply to markets, shopping malls, hotels, food outlets, and restaurants throughout Punjab.

Deputy Commissioner Captain (Retired) Ali Ejaz stated that, effective today, markets will no longer be required to shut down by 8:00 PM. He added that providing relief to traders is a government priority, and the relaxation in business hours will make shopping more convenient for citizens.
