Lahore: Dense fog and cold wave continued to envelop plain areas of Punjab, badly disrupting road and air traffic.

According to details, thick fog in several cities of Punjab, including Lahore has caused visibility to drop below 50 meters on main roads across the province.
Flight operations at Lahore Airport have been suspended while the flow of traffic on the national highway has also been disrupted due to fog.
As per Motorway police, the Lahore-Samundri Motorway section (M3) and Pindi Bhattian Motorway section have been closed for all kind of traffic amid low visibility.
The weather department has predicted that Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and north Balochistan will remained gripped in a cold spell while the rest of the country would experience cold and dry weather.
Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.
