Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif says Pakistan has played a very sincere role to mediate between the United States and Iran.
He expressed these views during delegation-level talks with his Chinese counterpart Li Qiang in Beijing today.

He said the world is passing through a very critical moment with a crisis in the Gulf.
Shehbaz Sharif thanked Chinese leadership for their great support to Pakistan to promote peace and achieve ceasefire.
He said Pakistan fully endorsed President Xi Jinping's four-point agenda.
The Prime Minister lauded the tireless efforts of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in this regard.
The Prime Minister emphasized the need for collective action to restore global peace.
Referring to bilateral ties, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said both nations are celebrating seventy-five years of a glorious friendship and diplomatic ties established by the founding fathers.
He said the founding fathers of both the countries laid a strong foundation and a strong edifice between two countries. He said the current leadership is committed to honoring that legacy and advancing this great journey of bilateral cooperation.
The Prime Minister also expressed his deepest condolences to the Chinese Premier and the people of China over the tragic gas explosion at coal mine in Shanxi. Expressing full solidarity, he stated that the thoughts and prayers of the Pakistani nation are with the victims and their grieving families.
Earlier, upon arrival at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, the Prime Minister was received by his Chinese counterpart and presented a guard of honor.
