Web Desk: The Eye Donation Welfare Society proudly announces that its President, Mr. Yasin Joyia, has been appointed as a member of the Donor, Partner and Community Relations Committee and the Member Value Committee of the Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA) for a two-year term.
This distinguished appointment recognizes Mr. Joyia’s outstanding contributions to the promotion of eye donation and the facilitation of corneal transplantation in Pakistan. Among only 164 members worldwide selected to serve on EBAA committees, Mr. Joyia’s inclusion reflects his unwavering commitment to advancing the field of eye banking and restoring sight to those affected by corneal blindness.
Over the years, Mr. Joyia has played a pivotal role in strengthening eye donation awareness, fostering international partnerships, and facilitating access to corneal transplantation for countless patients across Pakistan. His efforts have significantly contributed to improving opportunities for individuals suffering from preventable corneal blindness and have helped elevate Pakistan’s presence within the global eye banking community.
