Regional Forum Meeting: Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Egypt agree to strengthen regional cooperation

Regional Forum Meeting: Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Egypt agree to strengthen regional cooperation
Cairo: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar attended the fourth meeting of the Regional Forum (R-4) of foreign ministers from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt in the Egyptian capital.

According to details, during the meeting the foreign ministers reviewed progress on the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), discussed key regional and global issues, and reaffirmed their commitment to dialogue, diplomacy, and joint efforts to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.

The meeting also considered strengthening mutual coordination under the R-4 framework and enhancing practical cooperation to address shared challenges and opportunities.

On the sidelines of the session, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also met Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. The meeting covered bilateral relations as well as regional developments and various aspects of cooperation under the R-4 platform.

Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt expressed a shared resolve to further strengthen their partnership, promote diplomatic engagement, and work toward a peaceful, stable, and interconnected region. A joint communiqué was also issued at the conclusion of the meeting.
